Why would he look like a fool? Its not like we are fighting for the champions league spots like Chelsea are. That game was nothing, and he did the right thing by leaving the seniors out. I say smart move.

TheKopProphetSnakes - Here is Kenny's line up for the game before the Carling Cup Final against Brighton (remember a division below us)

Reina
Johnson
Carra
Skrtel
Enrique
Henderson
Gerrard
Adam
Downing
Carroll
Suarez

That is the team Kenny chose to play in the game before the carling cup final against a team sh!tter than Fulham. That just blows your theory out the water.

What really winds me up is the phrase "We can only take each game as it comes"...... And that is what Kenny did last night????? WHAT A LOAD OF B0LL0CKS.... Kenny went into that game picking his team and tactics for Chelsea at the weekend.

What i mean by that is, he has his team picked, they are all warm and comfortable ready to watch the fulham game so none of the likes of Reina, Johnson, Agger, Carra, Gerrard, Suarez, Bellamy get injured. Absolute pathetic

Players are in on merit.. thats a joke as well. Reina got suspended, it ends up being Brad Jones in nets, who for me is not as good as Reina, but other than a mess up at Blackburn didnt nothing wrong and saved a penalty and had the confidence to, in the last minute in a semi final against Everton at Wembley, come rushing out to the edge of his box and take control. Then when Reina is back from suspension Jones is dropped and Reina is back in. Reina has been poor this season.

And another point, why is Carra suddenly in the frame again for a final place when for all season he has been absolute sh!te. The man is a legend and he has been my best player for years, but this season has seen Skrtel become the player he should be. Skrtel has been our man of the season, consistent and also now a goal threat from set pieces. There is no way Carra should be in the starting 11 at the weekend, but Kenny will let club romance get in the way and Skrtel will no doubt be on the bench, or we will see another wonderful idea of putting Agger on the left and Carra and Skrtel in the middle.

My mate has a season ticket and has not missed a game this season. He worked out that he has spent close to £1000, so it has cost him close to £200 for every win. Value for money eh Red Men.

Kenny said last night that he was giving everyone a chance to get a place for the weekend game.

He has seen the following all season:

Henderson
Skrtel
Kelly
Spearing

He knows what the following can do:
Maxi
Kuyt
Carroll

WHY, WHY, WHY didn't he just start or at least give Sterling a full half. If it was his intention to give everyone a chance of getting into ithe final line up, then surely Sterling should get more of a chance last night seeing as he has only played 6 mins against Wigan all season.

Sterling will be gone in the summer if there is no chance, Sterling would have played at least 5 - 10 games in any other premier league team this season and that includes The Scum

Snakes - Dalglish just did what all managers do before a cup final. But the bashers and doomsayers on this site have no grace or honesty to admit it. They'll take any stick to bash Kenny with, however small or unfair. Also, by just blaming Dalglish they give the players another pass. This team should have beaten Fulham at home - it was full of internationals - they let the club down and shouldn't feature in the final. But it's easier for people to just keep bashing Kenny over the head for everything - it's their version of support.

The other side of the coin is that everyone knew the kenny fans would blame last nights inevitable defeat on fielding a weaker side - the excuse was ready made and could be seen a mile off.

Out of interest, WHY should last night's team have been able to beat Fulham? The league table shows that they are every bit as good as us (they have scored more on the road than we have at home) so why disrespect them so much by claiming they aren't as good as our 'B' team?

I will never understand your viewpoints on a million years...

You criticise the fans and you criticise the players in your one man crusade to save kenny's job. The buck stops with the manager. Granted, kenny was one of our best players ever but that's all in the past. Why do you put him above the importance of the club, the fans and the players? That's not supporting LFC, it's supporting kenny dalglish.

The game was not nothing. The fans turned up. Fulham turned up. It was KEnny's decision to make it nothing in favour of the FA cup. If we lose that, then he's made the game nothing for no reason at all. Which is foolish, when he's already under great pressure. I think for him it's all or nothing time, and he believes the cup win will save his job, so he's doing everything he can to keep his job. Pretty pathetic actually.

crazy logic
if he played a full team and gerrard pulled a muscle he would be slaughtered. he tried to win with as strong a second string as possible. didn't work , now we have a fresh 1st team in a massive world wide game on sat. calm down

if that was the case the fans should have been allowed in free

its a disgrace that the club thinks the games meaningless but they still charge
