Below Everton in the league
15 points away from relegation...
34 points away from the top...
13 points away from the CL places
In our worst place for over 50 years
Incapable of winning more than a couple of games on the bounce
5 home wins this season
20 league goals at home this season
We've lost the same away games as Wolves, who have been relegated
We've won less home games than Blackburn, who will be relegated
We've scored less goals than norwich, sunderland, blackburn
1 home win this year and we're in may......MAY!!!

AND WE'RE GETTING WORSE.....

At the halfway point of the season we were in 6th with 31 points (which wasn't particularly good).
17 games later and we're in 8th after only winning an extra 18 points. Approximately 1 point per game IS relegation form and we've been doing it for half a season. Disgraceful stuff.

I know that some people are asking for patience, but if we're any more patient we'll be in a relegation battle next year - look above, things are getting worse not better!

I don't think that even those in support of kenny think he is doing a good enough job to still be in charge next year. They might not admit it publicly but what you see above is facts and must surely be the end of kenny's disasterous 2nd reign. How can anyone who wants the best for the club want kenny to continue? The mind boggles.
If you didn't know the above was about Liverpool you'd assume it was a list of facts about someone like norwich, fulham or aston villa, not a club spending the kind of money that the top CL clubs are spending.

^ Thanks for that my friend, embarassing numbers.
Im sure the owners will do the right thing at the end of the season.

We are told to have patience. To which I say patience for what outcome? I agree you can't keep choping and changing but on the other hand you do need to make changes. Thats the way it works in football and in life generally. Dalglish has taken the club backwards and in the process wasted the probably a tranche of one off transfer fees at £115m. Were he not the legend he would be gone now and I suspect thats why he still has support from some quarters. I expect him to be given one more season which I expect will take us no further than we are now. He will then go having wasted 2 to 3 years of the clubs history and critical years at that with the FA fair play rules coming on board and the need for champions league football to take the club forward and the new ground. It is sad, self inflicted disaster by Liverpool FC and our former rivals Utd, Arsenal and even Everton now laugh at us. And you know what? so they should.

I don't think it's about 'knowing history'. I know plenty about the FA cup but it holds no interest for me - every round of cup games annoys me as it means a week of no league football. Some people get excited seeing Liverpool, or Chelsea or Arsenal playing against doncaster rovers or crawley town, but not me. I've always viewed the cups as something for the smaller clubs to get excited about.
And league football and cup football are 2 very different things. Cup football often sees small teams getting to the latter stages - not because they are better than premier league clubs but because they have an easy draw or the top clubs have bigger fish to fry (premier league, champions league..).

If FSG are happy for us to win low reward trophies then I can see kenny keeping his job. If they want to earn serious money and restore Liverpool to some kind of former glory then Kenny clearly isn't the man.

The same group of people who slated Roy for being poor yet wanted KD to be given another chance not remembering that KD did worse off than Roy.

The same group of people who slated Rafa for being a cup manager (CL cup) and yet wanted KD to be given another chance because at least KD got us a mickey mouse cup.
