as your new i will be polite

I have always said in all my posts the league form is not good enough but i guess you don't read the past posts BOY. I have never defended our league form as its been crap and i am wake enough to know that BOY.

People never remember who finished 2nd BOY but i agree we need to be in the top 4. To be honest i would rather finish 4th and get a trophy then finish 2nd and get nothing BOY.

The reasons that teams don't often win the double is because the cups are far FAR less important and even the strongest squads will prioritise competitions.

Which club are we talking about here? Because if you're arguing this from a Manc perspective then obviously number 2 is more important if one makes the assumption that number 1 implies a finish outside the top 4.

If you're arguing from a Liverpool perspective you realize number 2 doesn't have a leg to stand on because the squad isn't good enough for that over 38 games, so you'll take number 1 every day.

And just to save us all some time:

We can all spot a wind up a mile away by now, mate. Your lopsided argument in favour of your opinion is transparent.

The FA cup is a major trophy unlike the Carling Cup. If Liverpool overcome Chelsea then Dalglish will be given another year even if not I still expect him to be given another year. Because of the flux at FSG NOT because he is the right man. But the FA cup is not a subsitute for league progress and anyone who thinks so certaintly does not know Liverpool history or ethos.
Stanley Dalglish may well be given another year win or lose against Chelsea and this is the reason why it's looking more worrying that F.S.G. are not the right people to take the Club forward.
I think we both agree that if the Club does'nt qualify again next season then that will be be it regarding the Club ever being a force again as the boat will well and truly of sailed for good.
