today really shows the need to get rid of the lump and start playing with players on the same wave length as stevie and suarez.
stevie needs to play up top with suarez v chelsea. bellamy downing on either wing.
see this kinda set up next season
moses-----suarez------zaha
------------stevie------
-------lucas----adam--------
jose----skrtel--agger---glen-
--------pepe--------------
that team would would win the league no question
squad with bellamy,downing,carra,kelly,spearing and maybe another striker
with kuyt,maxi,hendo,carroll,cole and aqua making way

I wish I shared your optimism Kenny! 4th place, perhaps, but I have my doubts that Champo players like Adam and Zaha are capable of overcoming the Manchesters.

Put Granero or stevie where adam is suarez where zaha is saldado or another striker where suarez is and downing on your left then you could consider 4th place or 3rd being optimistic.

At this point, I'd be more willing to try Moses on the left, rather than Downing. Hell, I'd be willing to bring back Mark Gonzalez rather than play Downing.
