We need a player like Aquilani and I'd welcome him back. Said it a few weeks ago when his name cropped up, and will say it again with NO apology if someone else has also mentioned it, BUT, he WAS THE star palyer during pre season friendlies last summer, remember? yes against a load of chinese amateur players he was great The funny thing is, that non of the rest of the team impressed against these Chinese amateurs. So, surely if he was the better player, then why wouldn't we take him back.

Who knows... maybe Aquilani will be better disposed to coming back to LFC after various Italian clubs have snubbed him...
I hear Joe Cole is coming back too. Joe Cole has mentioned he wants to stay in a number of interviews with Lille. I think his Liverpool career is over.

It's almost as though "fate" wants us to keep him. Maybe we should start listening?

He wants to stay but it appears that they simply cannot afford him Snake. I don't think it's by a little either (his salary although he sounds like he's willing to take a cut) is probably twice that which they can pay. So, another gone South. I could see them releasing him on a free.

Even if aqua comes back, kenny will only ship him out again. The scouts at liverpool don't seem to know much about talent after shipping aqua out for two seasons (being our best player in preseason) and buying the current crop for extortionate prices. Whenever Kenny talks about aqua it always gets me angry =P

Kenny has said today that Aquilani is welcome back if Milan don't take up the option to buy him. I'd have him back, but I can't see it happening. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/kd-aqua-would-be-welcome-back

I remember when ken originally shipped him out, he said it was because 'AA plays in the hole behind a striker and we don't have that position at LFC', or words to that effect.
