Just wanted to see if anybody else would welcome him if we can sign him ? I think he will be a great player I can see something in him although not prolific with goals at present his record shows he was at under 17 level and although it does not mean he will be the next 30 goal a season man next season I do think he will be a Defoe level or more in the near future plus Wigan always sell at the right money as the owner runs a good ship and he is already local (ish) to the area having moved from QPR to Wigan.

He is a good player and will only improve the question is would you have him or a player of similar of similar or better ability for less like Marko Marin because he won't leave Wigan for anything less than 15mil.

I think we have to be careful of buying the 'good' players from poor teams. They sometimes look better than they actually are. Carroll, Adam, Downing.... we should learn from our mistakes.

I would sign a proven goal scorer say Defoe, Bent, Marin, Podolski, Lavazzi looks the real deal but would not join but Moses as a punt to brng on lke Walcott for Arsenal as I feel Kuyt will be off with Maxi so need 2 anyway we look ok for defenders just need a 20 + goal a season striker a winger (Jarvis may be pretty cheap from Wolves as a squad player) and I feel we may be ok in center mid with Lucas coming back althouh Adam has been poor had high hopes for him, Would look at Adebayor but wages too much ! and he only seems to play for the first half a season but is top draw when on form and trying

I would rather sign Hoilett from Blackburn who will come for a free transfer and scores more goals than Moses who will be at least 10m considering he is Wigan's star player.

I like Jarvis at wolves too! considering they are going down, we could get him cheap cheap!!

I like him, but I like him where he is. Not even nearly of the required quality to push us on in my opinion.
