its a disgrace, it really is. i dont like harry but spurs dont deserve that, no team does.

it one thing for officials to not see a ball cross a line, but to claim it did when it clearly didnt is another thing entirely.

They have TV refs in rugby league why not football?

Shocking decision. Terry, who doesn't win the ball, takes out 3 Spurs defenders including the keeper (foul), and then Mata's shot doesn't cross the line (not even part of the ball goes past Assou-Ekotto's boot, which is above the line), and somehow Atkinson misses all that and gives a goal! Complete howler that changed the game.

Seriously, the FA need to talk to their referees because the last few weeks have not been a good advertisement for the game or the respect campaign.

What else would they do? go over to the ref and say it was not over the line? at least John Terry was honest in the post match interview and said he did not think it was over the line instead of the answer they normally give - I did not see it. The modern game is so fast refs will always make these mistakes if it happened in 1972 it would not even have been televised never mind shown from 50 angles and computer projected. The answer is obvious referee’s need some support its too hard for one man to spot just with his eyes / senses.
