he set up the current Barcelona academy structure back in the 90s when he was manager. It's been mentioned a few times by Guardiola and Ballague. Considering we took 3 of their coaches and have adopted their system 3 seasons ago it would seem a natural fit - as does the playing style, again which Kenny has tried to resurrect.

However he is out spoken and caused mayhem at Ajax recently.I do believe though that it was political not football related.

Cruyff is a man of principal.

He didn't go to the 1978 World Cup in Argentina because of human rights abuses being carried out by the military junta in place at that time.

what i have learnt about the "mess" he created at Ajax is something about principle as well.the board wanted to make some appointment without his consent and perhaps they did.he opposed and took the matter to courts and got the verdict in his favour and the whole board had to quit.I might not be precise with this information but if its so then i dont see any problem with this sort of stubbornness or bluntness

He is serious trust me, and if you make an argument against this. He will end up with an excuse to get away from an argument he can't win e.g. 'Im tired' lol

the man is a genius.would be interesting to see what kind of role the owners want him to be in and what level of authority does he demand in order to be full time with LFC as quoted somewhere that FSG want him solely to work with LFC and not other clubs simultaneously.

if he gets the director's role .will it gel well with kenny as manager or would there be a manager's appointment based on his suggestion...interesting times for sure smile

VanBasten has a story about him when he played for Ajax with Cruyff as manager, VanBasten was worried about his injury but their was a big game coming, Cruyff told the striker he will play even if it got his foot broken or he will personally destroy his career. eek

Cruyff would be an amazing addition to LFC. He could bring in solid talent and teach the players a thing or two

Agger would be f#cked!

Agger can go Travis Bickle on Cruyff, he has the haircut.
