can't see Henry with a serious face like Warner in the interview, it's like they are playing "good cop, bad cop" laugh

"Fail to prepare, prepare to fail!"

They are getting the back room sorted, then followed by the best manager they can get, given the freedom to spend on the right players THAT WILL 100% take us forward. No more Downing's, or Adam's or wishful thinking Henderson punts!

I expect nothing less next season, than us to be top 4 MINIMUM. It's a huge disappointment to miss out again for another season, but the owners are gonna show us (hopefully) that they've learned from their mistakes, and next season will show it.

Hopefully we can send the blue sh*tes back home sulking and then show Torres in the final, that if he wanted to win things, he should have knuckled down and stayed.

It would be nice to see Dalglish step aside, clutching the FA CUP with a smile, Torres crying in a blue shirt.....and then for a manager with genuine testicular fortitude and clout, with Dein behind the scenes, come in and take us on to the next level. The level FSG are apparently very serious about.

Oh, and that stadium we was talking about.........

Thing's are looking up for once folks, BRING ON THE TOFFEES!

What will you do if that doesn't happen?

It would be nice, It would be an ideal situation, as I said.

If it doesn't happen and somehow Kenny stays, I'll support Kenny. (even though I personally think he will step aside)

Today tells me differently though, changes were made today preparing OBVIOUSLY for next season, so I think it's normal that replacements are going to be brought in.

It would be good if David Dein comes in, if it doesn't happen, we'll have to wait and see who FSG go for.

It would be nice for Kenny to step aside on a good note....if it happens, wouldn't it?

I can't even remember why Dein left the gunners. Anyone?

From what I remember, it was a dispute with the ownership of the club. No problem with management or team.

Arsenal have got about 50 shareholders with "meaningful" percentages, who all think they are the outright owners of the club. It's a mess. Usmanov and Kroenke are the main villains. At the moment, it's a bit of a power struggle tug-o-war.

I think Dein has a percentage of the holdings to.... That's what interrupted the last time FSG were "after him." Although he isn't "in work" he still has ties to Arsenal Football Club.

Until one of the Arsenal shareholders stands up for once, buys them all out and effectively owns the club, I don't think you'll see Dein go elsewhere to another club.

To sum it all up, somebody needs to have the b*llocks and buy Arsenal.

Whether Dein would still come to us, I don't know. He has an affinity and support to Arsenal.

If FSG were serious, they'd make sure to get him regardless.

Fingers crossed! wink

I recall it being said of Dein that he was an incredibly positive influence on Wenger, and one that stopped him getting carried away at transfer time - to focus on the "strategy". I've said before that we're the new Arsenal, and who better to bring in than their man?

I also heard that Kronke was supposed to put in an offer for the club once he reached 30% shares - but he's obviously not bought it since so his offer either never materialized or wasn't good enough.

Werner really expresses his views on the current plight in the league!

Genuine question guys, I'm feeling lazy and can't be bothered to trawl through everything, has there been anything of substance that has led to the suggestion of us bringing Dein in? Or is it just conjecture at this point? Would be a good addition if true, but he seems arsenal through and through, and doesn't exactly need the money.

On the director of football role, I can't remember the exact quote but they did suggest the strategy and structure might be tweaked upon being asked if they would get a replacement. Not suggesting we won't, just food for thought.
