i want him to stay on because I beleive he can rectify his mistakes in the market with 1-2 signings and cosidering we'll probably sign 3-4 players more likely he'll fix the probs in the team, i.e new cb for agger when injured and carra, new striker and new creative mid in miereles mould

Upcoming world class players IMO for 2014 WORLD CUP:
K-P Boateng, Gotze, Sturridge, Kroos, Lucas Leiva, Hummels, Kyriakos Papadopoulos,

They're supporting the manger ahead of a game against Everton.

They have to.

They've tried their best with the decisions today TO NOT effect the team going into this game. They've put the warning out to the club, quietly.

Although the FA CUP will not make up for terrible league form again, it might be seen as a saving grace some what.

I still think by the start of next season, we will have a new manager. But not until the last game of the season is played. I would not be surprised, at all, if the owners are already aware of Dalglish's intentions, they seem to have a good relationship, and they respect what he means to the club and the fans.

It will be done with dignity and honor, when and if the time is right, Kenny wont be ousted from the club, he will still exist in some capacity within the club, when he steps aside.

Let's be honest, that's what we all want if Kenny steps aside, isn't it?....followed by the very best manager we can get.

For SOME people on here.

I feel very positive after the comments and it's nice to hear from the owners now and again!

(Nice picture though wink )

Absolutely not. We've got great confidence in Kenny. We feel the team is going to make strides in the future and he enjoys our full support.

Do you envisage any other changes in the senior management of the club?

We do not. It's a good question. We believe the senior management is very strong, Ian Ayre is an outstanding managing director. His charge is to raise revenue so that we can put the resources into strengthening our football club. We've got great confidence in the other people in football operations, and so the answer is there will be no future changes of significance.

The words highlighted don't equate to 'for now' as far as i'm concerned. If after these statements Kenny is fired even at the end of the season, then Tom Werner will have lost credibility. We'll never be able to believe a word he says.

Whilst it does seem that Kenny will be here next season. Your post smacks of being naieve in the extreme. There is a reason why people (all be it jokingly) call it the 'dreaded' vote of confidence. Owners always say they are 100% behind the manager, right up until they sack him. Otherwise it undermines him for the time he has left and makes the club look stupid. Whilst I'm not saying Kenny is still off come summertime, I'm just saying don't hold too much stock in an owner's vote of confidence in a manager.

I think the other matter (as has already been hinted at by another poster) is that Kenny has already let his intentions be known e.g he wants to stand down end of this season. In that case Tom Werner's words would be entirely consistent.

Very sensible post, BRK. For the people in support of Kenny staying, don't get carried away - these quotes are no assurance that he'll be here next season, and same for the people who desperately want him out.

I think the owners are playing it well, and I have faith in them that they'll make the right decision. I'll back that decision fully, whatever it may be (unless they sack Kenny and bring in another Roy Hodgson)!

I think as things stand, there are plenty of reasons to be positive. I think it's fairly likely that the owners haven't completely made up their mind whether Kenny will be staying or going yet, but according to Dunk, they're currently searching for a new manager, in the event that he will be shown the door.

When Kenny is no longer our manager I don;t want him to be still involved with the club in any capacity. What does he bring to the table?

Coaching expertise? I don't think he does any coaching
Youth development? He doesn't seem to keen on our youngsters
Scouting? emphatically, hell no!
Ambassadorial? with his attitude and demeanor it would be a PR disaster

No, he just needs to retire and buy himself a season ticket.

FSG are learning the game and probably realised Comolli's salary is a waste... especially if he's just going to overpay for British footballers. I wouldn't be surprised if they kept Kenny even if we lost the FA cup... but he'll be gone if we start badly in August.

Either way... the doom collective is going to be very irritable today!

Why is Commoli being the scapegoat for the signings?

What a surprise!

sleep

I find that disgusting to be honest, Kenny was brought back to the club by Rafa. Did he wind you up like this then? When he wasn't in the spotlight?

Your not this bloke are you:

?

I'm starting to worry for Kenny's safety!
