On the contrary, I have never been more happy as a supporter.

Listening to Mr Warner, he has a sound path for this club to go down, They are hardly going to display lack in faith in kenny on tv (are they)

We get a proper director of football and at least kenny knows the owners will act if they have to and they wont accept failure in their eyes.

I will listen, only if your answer contains wisdom

Does Damien Comolli's departure have any impact upon Kenny Dalglish's position as manager?

Absolutely not. We've got great confidence in Kenny. We feel the team is going to make strides in the future and he enjoys our full support.

Do you envisage any other changes in the senior management of the club?

We do not. It's a good question. We believe the senior management is very strong, Ian Ayre is an outstanding managing director. His charge is to raise revenue so that we can put the resources into strengthening our football club. We've got great confidence in the other people in football operations, and so the answer is there will be no future changes of significance.

The words highlighted don't equate to 'for now' as far as i'm concerned. If after these statements Kenny is fired even at the end of the season, then Tom Werner will have lost credibility. We'll never be able to believe a word he says.

Very very very encouraging for me. People will of course question the timing before game. But in my honest opinion, I think the timing is perfect.

It tells the players and management that some of the performances this season, are not forgotten because of a Carling Cup win. The message is clear and has been sent out. If you don't want to take Liverpool on to the next level, get back into the CL and challenge in the league, then the owners will make the decision for you.

Although they'll say they support Kenny, the message has been made.

I don't think they will ever "sack" Dalglish. But they're not afraid to make the decision for him to step aside, if it means to improve the club and take us forward.

Very positive words from Tom Werner, very positive.

The players SHOULD feel pressured into winning the FA CUP now......it's there only "saving grace" for this season.

Let's hope we sign some TOP players that WILL take us forward, and if Dalglish does step aside, we appoint the very best manager to take us forward and match the ambition with actions on the pitch. David Dein would be a fantastic welcomed addition to. I hope that happens.

Don't be a silly sausage. Even managers that get "full support" often find themselves signing on the following week. Tom & FSG are going to be around much longer than Ken so they need the fans onside. Doing anything which might cause the KD fan club to start protesting is the last thing they want so they are simply playing the game. They may well have sacked DC but he only signed the players that KD asked for. DC's sacking was a warning shot aimed right at Kenny....His job is far from safe...

There have been directors and chairmen that have said they "fully support" and "back" the manager and then sack him the next day. Tom is a politician - he's talking, but he's not saying anything. I would take this interview with a roughly boulder-sized grain of salt.

What amazes me is why anyone would want Dalglish to stay on. His record is there for all to see short term success followed by collaspse and then he quits. Only this time he has missed out the short term success bit unless you count second half of last season and that was the success.
