Central,

If i paid a subscription to skysports, it would be to watch the football. one of the reasons i dont is because i dont agree with the way that they (and other media outlets) exploit the sport for a cheap story. If I wanted to support a global brand, i would go and cheer on apple or mcdonalds thanks. i support liverpool football club.

I think if Kenny was say 3rd or 4th in the league and with the Carling Cup under his belt and FA cup to come then he could get away with his media peformance. But its just one extra negative and one he could so easily avoid. To me its an own goal and he acts like its 1988 but its not its a massively media driven world now where everything is dissected.

Mike I do understand what you are saying. But sky sports exists and rules football in my view not for the better. But there it is an a modern manager have to be savvy. I do subscribe to sky sports and I can confirm its a rip off to end all rip off but if you want to watch live games and super league as I do what other choice do you have?

out of interest, and escaping 'reality' for a moment, is that something you are comfortable with and agree with, or does it make you love the game less?

Its the world we are in and to be honest yes I think it makes it more entertaining I do want to know what went on and to see the disallowed goal from 20 angles and so do we all otherwise no one would watch it. Its the explosion of players wages I have the issue with its killing the game.

If I could click my fingers so Sky would disappear and crawl back into whatever hole they came out of in the first place, I would without hesitation!

I hate hate hate hate HATE what they've done to football. They can shove their money where the sun doesn't shine! They've become far to powerful now and are starting to influence the insides of football, when they should ONLY EVER be on the outsides!

They've become so powerful and controlling, they've branched of in multiple directions and now own almost everything on the monopoly board.

They've taken all the sport of national TV over the years, to the point where we won't have any sport on "free" TV at all.

The subscription fees for the digital TV is sickening, hence why Murdoch will never get a penny of me.

....oh yes, and the BBC and government still expect you to pay a TV license, after they decided themselves everything went digital, without the public having a say in it at all! It was all decided for us, without a question being asked.

Conveniently BBC are selling all the sport they had left of to Sky (most recently half of F1....which wont be half for long, mark my words.) using the good ol' "cut back" excuse......funny how its Sky who buy them out. Ain't it? "cut back"

So we have to pay for digital and still pay for a TV license....which has never ever been reduced since its introduction. It now stands at summat like £150 a year. Still. Even when the BBC sell everything of worth f*cking watching!

RANT OVER BEFORE I EXPLODE mad

Good man Craney we need more like you.

The BBC licence is theft pure and simple. How can it be right when I subscribe to god knows how many channels on sky and I have to pay £140 to watch the BBC one channel.

Theft !!!! mad
