The bottom line is that some people on here were gutted we won last night.

That meant they couldn't rant about the result.

So they did the next best thing, they ranted about the interview afterwards.

It is sad to read posts extolling the virtues of the media in order to score points against the manager.

Wenger, Ferguson and Moyes are all abrasive with the media. They dont trust them and it's not hard to know why.

The reputation of the media in Britain is at an all time low and it is entirely self inflicted

I say good on Kenny. He did it because he is protecting our club. If anyone thinks Ferguson got where he is today by being media friendly they are delusional.

The day a football manager has to be diplomatic is a sad day for football.

Liverpool fans should love that Kenny protects the club from vermin like this guy. Bet carra is delighted.

Exactlty these guys are in the entertainment business and as a subscriber to Sky I expect and want them to ask tricky questions not just of Liverpool but ALL teams. Otherwise whats the point of having it if it was just some north korean santised channel. I cannot fathom some people I wonder if the person who posted that pays £20 a month for sky?

Protecting our club from what, exactly? He makes us look worse by being a d*ck than he would by just answering the questions like any other manager. Not saying he has to be best pals with journalists, just treat them with a minimal level of respect. It's not diplomacy, it's basic human decency. And it's not just last night because we've got nothing else to moan about; he's done it for all of this season and all of last season, and after every game I cringe when I hear his responses/excuses/justifications/conspiracy theories. I swear, some people love telling themselves that they're the only true Liverpool fans because they follow the rest of the sheep saying "Kenny is King. He can do no wrong." He's a man, a man with flaws just like the rest of us. One of those flaws being that he is an absolute tw*t when it comes to journalists.

Kenny can treat them however he likes,journo's in the majority are scum,Andy Burton is in that majority.

Could not agree more avaliable on a free he makes himself look an idiot its fine being like that when you are Ferguson who has won everthing and can lord it a bit not so good when you are driving a top club like Liverpool into the dust. Kenny needs to show some humility and dignity for his sake and the clubs.

I thought when Fergie would not speak to the BBC it was a disgrace because the only people he was hurting was his own fans. However he has earned the right to be a bit off with reporters Kenny has earned nothing and should show some respect until he proves himself. And he won't do that until we are in the top 4 regularly. However in a general sense all managers should treat reporters with respect because it just makes them look small otherwise. Remember why they are interviewed its not for the reporters benefit is it?
