He goes missing in games a lot, but he's a clever footballer, and is always amongst the goals. He knows how to finish - and that's something we've badly missed this season. He should play more.

Yeah, he works best close to the opponent's goal.
A bit like Kuyt that is - but without the dreadful finishing and the dutch clogs on his feet. A winger??? No - more of a poacher really.
Play him every game - at least as a sub coming off the bench for some 30 minutes!

yeh defo play him more, but not on the wing, get him up fronnt along with carroll or suarez. goals have been missing this season and i honestly think if maxi was played up front alot of are chances would of been put away.

Honestly I would play Maxi all of the time while he's fit. He reminds me of that OAP Scholes, Late runs in the box always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Imagine if Carroll had the same footballing brain!! Maxi has played with some of the best players in the world before coming too us and has been coached by some topclass coaches he must picked something up??
