Anyone know why he doesn't play enough, he always gets in the right places for goals and I think Suarez would play better with Maxi playing.
Last season he ended on a high only to be ignore at the start of this season, he then comes in scores a few important goals and is then dropped again.

I'd start Maxi as well, along with Carroll & Suarez
Shelvey & Gerrard in middle, Sterling/Kuyt on right

I've always thought his movement was good, and he is 10 times more intelligent than downing or Carroll in terms of his football. But he doesn't offer much mobility and has 0 pace. He always comes inside as well, think kenny prefers people to run fast down the sides. Maxi always seems to link up well with suarez as well.
I am surprised he doesn't get played more, though I can see why he doesn't start.

Could someone explain why Maxi is usually frozen out and will be sold in couple of months? This guy of course is not young, but he is not injury prone and is more skilful than most of LFC players, except may be Suarez. Remember second half of the last season and his great goalscoring form. Its a rhetorical question but sometimes I raise my eyebrows trying to explain why British "talent" like Downing or Adam are played regularly and the guy who can bring victory by one touch will definitely be sold.
