So we didnt qualify for Champions League through league this year, next year is going to be just as tough and without solid signings we wont make it. My point is, why dont we put more into trying to win the Europa and getting in that way? Winning is a long journey and the fixtures are always at sh!t times, but its worth a go

I'm sure under Dalgish next season we'll put the same amount of effort into the cups, considering we'll be playing more players from the academy and generally have a larger squad than this season with 2-3 leaving and 3-4 coming in plus likes of Sterling Shelvey Spearo, Wilson all making pushes in the cups

Expect in the cups against lesser opposition at home in europe and in dometic cups home and away we'll play the youth players and fringe players.

If we could start the season over and have a second chance we'd be in 1st.

At the end of last season I was happy to see us miss out on Europa League football because of the "playing on Thursday and Sunday" is more of a hindrance than a help" excuse. I also thought it'd increase our chances of a top 4 finish, with less games to play

However, after a year without European football, my view has changed completely. Firstly, we had no European football as a "distraction" and we still couldn't finish in the top 4. I'm also happy for us to be in the Europa League for 2 other main reasons - more games means more money for the club, and more importantly, some of our younger players haven't had as many chances in the league this season as many of us would have hoped they'd have. I think they'll get a lot more playing time in the Europa League, particularly in the group stages.

Is that right Mate ? first I have heard of it if its true then we shoulf concentrate on winning the europa because more chance of winning that than getting fourth

Well seeing as no one else seems to know, I doubt its true, but I coulda have sworn the winner of Europa was put into qualifying rounds...

I think the only thing the winner of europa gets to do is play the winner of champions.
