I think Henry gave Kenny the position on merit. He had an incredible run as interim. Had top 3 form if I remember correctly.
All built on no pressure games from January last year onwards, Dalglish only had two must win games last season with any real pressure and that was Braga in the Europa League and Spurs at home when we needed to win to qualify for the Europa this season, Dalglish lost them both.

Fundamentally disagree with that. He spent big on 2 strikers, one of which wasn't coming good. There is ALWAYS pressure on liverpool to win games, especially after he was supposedly there to 'stabalise the club'. Completely disagree that there was no real pressure. Personally can't even see why anyone would think that.

Don't get me wrong, by the same token based on performance he should go now. But at the end of last season the teams form was more than good enough to suggest he should be in line for the job.

Have to be consistent with both sides of the coin.

Agreed, but he managed to lose against Spuds near the end of last season - one of the few games that really mattered back then.

In hindsight that was perhaps a first bad omen. We just couldn't see it at that point in time. Simply yet too few games played to base any theory upon.

Now about the same thing happened this season as we lost against Arsenal - the whole team just mentally collapsed like a house of cards.

I hope your correct and its all about Fergie because old bacon face will keel over soon just like Tony at the end of GodFather 3. I hope is has nothing to do with world class players like Rooney, Valencia, Nani, Young and finishers like Chicarito. You do realize however that a guy who has played zilcho minutes for them this season ( Bebie ) had more goals last season than all our strikers have scored this year combined and he cant even sniff minutes at Man U. They have talent that can put the ball in the net not hit the woodwork. They defend very well and when all else fails they get so much help from the refs like today while we get shyyt on by the refs like yesterday.

we can talk about refs for every team, how bout we focus on their coaching, scouting and above all else thieir top class management.

I want all these things at my team next season, because i don't have them this season
