Have not got the best defenders, rio, evans are hardly top draw, rafael is not a great full back and the evra can't defend for toffee.
they have two old codgers in giggs and scholes
and some very lightweight strikers in welbeck and hernandez (this season)
but yet they sit clear aloft the premiership
why
because of the manager I detest more than any other, Alex ferguson
A world class manager can take scraps and make it into a three course meals (like rafa did in 2005)
It sickens me to think Man united could win more titles taking them out of site for us.
Liverpool's owners need to be aware of our history and realize we will not stand, for standing still sake
We need to act now or forget ever catching man u

good chance liverpool might never catch up with manchester united due to years of neglect from sir john smith and peter robinson to ian ayre and john henry and from dalglish 1991 to dalglish 2012 , just waste and neglect everyone of them .

While I run the risk of inccuring the wrath of the KD fan club, your right old whiskey nose has done it season after season. As you point out he has got some sh!te players, but his motivational skills are second to none. His whole persona wins games for them also i.e. A lot of 50/50 decisions go their way and ther's fergie time aswell!, if it were UTD playing Villa yesterday how many of the penalty shouts would of been given their way?? I would say at least two.
KD just hasn't got that pull behind the scenes with the league or the FA.

Agreed having almost every decision and questionable call go your way helps too. No denying the job Fergie does but every official runs scared of him

please don't use the refs as an excuse the facts speak for themselves, this is by far and away one of the worst teams ever for Man u, and yet where are they in the league? i think the point is, when you have won so much, and have been dominant for so long, you can get away with not having the best side because everyone, players, opposition, media and referees expect you to win. that is a massive advantage which will be very difficult to break for us. if they appoint someone from within, and ferguson moves upstairs, i only expect this to get worse. few referees will dare oversee anything except that which is 'expected'.
