I would love to see him have another crack at the whip with some decent money behind him. Let's be clear .... the future does not lie with Carrol & Henderson while Downing & Adam are very ordinary at best.
I know people will say he loves the place, that he won the CL and got us to the final but the main reasons I would cite for having him back are that given decent money he will buy quality and he is respected by so many who played for his tactical mastery.

I await the usual abuse, dismissive taunts, allegations of idiocy etc ... but I still belive that he is a modern manager for a club that needs to move forward. I was so looking forward to Kenny coming back but soon tired of him - he's really painful at times forever trying to be smart assed a la Shankly ... it's boring if not embarassing .... never mind the results.

new start after dalglish. no more going back. raffa is not as good as he thinks he is and given the time, he would have destroyed the club during his last season. dont listen to him talk about funding, its just an excuse. the truth is the more control he got at the club the worse it got. even though dalglish isnt doing so well in recent games, he doesnt worry me have as much as raffa did.

I genuinely can't understand why people think that bringing Rafa back would be such a bad thing. He's been the best manager we had in a long, long time who would have brought a lot more success to us had he not been forced to go head-to-head with hicks & Gillet. A read through of Brian Reades' "an epic swindle" will shed a lot of light on matters and open a lot of peoples eyes as to why things went down hill for rafa. I won't comment on how much better i think RB would have done with the money KD had as we have no way of telling, and there are those who won't have a bad word said about either manager, regardless of any facts/evidence.

there are some very good books around that all fans should read though - don;t form your opinions on hearsay, gossip, forums or newspapers...

Brian Reade and good books in the same sentance is an oxymoron.

He may not be the greatest writer but he loves the club and has gone to great depths to obtain a lot info that most people would never know about. If you haven't read the book, give it a try.

I speed read it in waterstones (8 seconds) total load of garbage, I hate the man. Smarmy git he is often on LFCTV imparting his wisdom. He knows no more than any of us he is a well paid journalist and makes money from gullible LFC fans. He won't get a penny off me I can tell you that for sure.

Lets see... If KD is let go before summer, who else would you consider a viable replacement? Might get some sh!t for this but I would love to see Moyes at LFC, but I doubt he would hop across Stanley Park...

I just don't get it, Moyes has done great with a limited budget, but lets remember some managers are suited to managing teams with smaller budgets, smaller egos, less expectation (hodgson anyone?). Moyes has shown nothing that suggests he could take Liverpool forward and play exciting football. No manager in the PL has that wouldn't currently see coming to Liverpool as a step down.

Don't get me wrong there are other managers that play good football, but none that make me think you could make the step up, nor make me think big players will respect you and play for you. We have to look outside the PL for a new manager.
