Mourinho has played many games with attractive football. Duff and Roben anyone? Fantastic players to watch play the beautiful game. Joe cole in his prime. Mourinho knows how to win ugly and uses it when he must, its a myth that he only plays boring physical football though.
Mou said he'd never manage liverpool. Not never manage them under the (then) current owners. I see him waiting for the United job but that's just an opinion. I don't think we could get him anyway. So far are owners have invested 40 mill, not sure if thats enough for him to be on it, also he doesn't have a track record of getting young cheap youngsters and building them up which FSG religiously talk about being their long term plan.
I'd go nuts if we pulled off a coup and landed van gaal, I'd be so happy. I can't see it happening. He's in Germany, has a huge amount of money to spend, some fantastic players, and something to prove as Bayern haven't been tearing their league up. But oh christ if we got him I'd be one happy Red. Yes,Mourinho is unrealistic and a horrible person,Van Gaal is not working for Bayern anymore,he is trying to get on the board of Ajax,Jupp Henyckes is the current Bayern manager and has been linked with us recently by some lame journo's. Then I'd be a happy camper if we managed to get hold of him. I think he knows how to set up an impressive team.

Mourinho for me all day long. Yes we'd be a boring physical team winning 1-0 almost every week. Yeah right! 1-0 most of the time was it? Real Madrid have scored 100 goals and concieved 27 in 30 matches so far this season in La Liga. That sums up to around 3,333-0,9 on average. As a comparison Barca have just scored 86 and let 22 in. That's how bad Real are at scoring goals!  I'd certainly take that any day of the week!

Real have Ronaldo, Higuain, Benzema, Di Maria, Kaka, Ozil and Callejon just to name a few... Ever so slightly better than the options we have or are ever likely to have!

We have the second most expensive player compared to those though: Carroll!  The question was whether Mourinho would play boring football with LFC, which I doubt.

I would take 1-0 win all day if it means we are going to finish high in the EPL. Look what he did at chelsea, in his first season he accumulated the highest points in a EPL winning season.

To even mention Carroll in the same sentence as those Madrid players is why were a laughing stock!
We battered Madrid over two legs a few years ago, look at us now?

That much hasn't happened since we beat them though. We got battered by Wigan over 2 legs this year! Does that count?

No, he's not British! I'd go for McManaman. He's British and young (21). Valued at around £ 4,5 M, so I guess £ 20 M would be appropriate for him! He has played 21 minutes so far in the league this season, so it might be about the same outcome as for Carroll!
