i do agree with others that the squad will need lots of fresh blood but after last summer is Kenny the man to do it.
I really don't trust him in the transfer window again

you say keep the faith when did that bring success weve been keeping the faith for over 20 years look what that did time for the owners to digg deep build a stadium and bring in a top manager that can handle a big club before we float into mediocre

seriously the only difference between hicks and gillet and fenway is the club is not in debt thats all , both have not built the stadium or renovated anfield which was the reason the club was sold for in the first place , 100 million spent but not a lot from the owners , leadership is needed now from fenway and something MUST BE DONE .

All we have had from our owners are words. They have put nothing into the club yet. What they are up to lord only knows. they've put 30-40m investment in, and they've relieved us of the debt that was 20m a season or worse. It's not nothing. not a lot though is it , seeing the money the club earns they are making big money out of LFC and very little in return .

plus if nothing is said between henry, werner and ayre over the dire league programme, then they are not looking after our clubs interests properly .

Actually Raffa the irony there is that it is Kenny and Commo who have squared the finances up even with the big Carroll headline transfer not FSG. The 2 of them shipped out all the fringe guys on huge salaries, trimmed and have saved millions. Just a pity that the money spent appears to be little better in quality.

Why are we turning on the owners? This situation has very little to do with them.
They came in, wiped out our debt, stabilized the club, and immediately put in £100 million for transfers alone. They're also paying our wage bill, which is one of the highest in the league. I would be genuinely shocked if they've made any sort of profit from us at all.
As for the stadium, I would be more concerned if they did break ground already. The construction of our new home or the redevelopment of Anfield is not a decision to be taken lightly. Just because there has been no "visible" progress on that front doesn't mean that nothing is going on behind the scenes. There is so much that goes into stadium construction, the planning alone takes months. You need architects to draw up the plans, engineers to test if those plans are structurally feasible, lawyers to examine zoning regulations and secure building permits from the municipality, you need to secure contractors to actually build the thing, who will in turn need to secure the materials necessary, who will also need to secure sub-contractors of their own, etc. etc. This is not a simple process by any means.
I understand that you're upset, but criticizing everybody and everything about the club is not constructive at all. For me, the blame is on the players and Dalglish, and possibly Comolli, but no one can say for sure what his role in the transfers actually is.

I respect your post but enrique is an exception to it. If he played bad one match he bounces back and turn up the next match. The other players I honestly don't know what to expect of them, I hope they play well. And that's about it hope.

I agree with the OP. There's no point in repeating the same old rants about Kenny, bad buys, Comolli etc.. the owners may not be football tacticians, but they are astute business men and even though they want to make money here, they will know investment is needed. They will also be very aware things aren't working and will look to put things right pretty quick.
I've no idea what's happening with the stadium but as AOAF says, these things take time. It's a huge huge deal, but the owners will also know the income it will generate inc naming rights. That said, we all hope for some word on the decision soon.
I always think back to what Dunk said a red sox fan said to him, that they will manage the fans expectations. I think we'll need a few years until we can start judging the owners. So far they've reduced the wage bill, which I'd rather see than players sales, bought expensive young players (which no doubt they were told were superstars so we can blame any part of their dissapointment on them), sacked a manager the fans wanted out after a few months and hired the fans favourite.
Action on the manager and transfer budget will probably tell us a lot in the summer.
