1.520 / 3 = 507 minutes between his goals on average. That means he scores 1 for every 17 games played. OK he hasn't featured in all our 31 games, but in 28 of them!

Horrible stats!

How on earth did you calculate that? 1 goal every 507 minutes...a match lasts 90 minutes....divide 507 by 90 and you get 5.63....so one in every 5.6 games he plays...not 1 in every 17 games....

blush

Sorry about that. You're right! I forgot to divide by 3!

On the other hand: If you look not at minutes played but at number of appearances, then he has scored 3 in 28, which equals 9 on average! eek

That is even worse than Skrtel who is playing as a CB!

What a striker we have in Carroll!

If we want to do some maths here is a good stat. 28/3= 0.11 goals per game, John Terry who is a centre back 4 goals in 23 appearances in the league which gives us 0.17 goals per game. Well if we multiply 0.17 by 28 games it gives us 5 (rounded to near whole number) goals per game after 28 games played. Caroll has been shocking.
