Is he good enough to wear the liverpool shirt?
IMO he has been given more than enough opportunities to impress and hasn't. Time to bite the bullet on this one. If Robbie Keane paid for poor form it's time Lucas does the same.

Robbie was not just sold due to his form (or lack of it), he was sold on due to him not gelling with the team and management. We will see how Lucas goes but I don't think he is any better then what we have. Why not push him out on loan and bring back one of the otehr youngsters and give him a chance in the first team.

I can do without him, frustrating player.
IMO we should keep the Monster, keep Alonso, bring in Barry, give Plessis 2-3 more years to impress, and sell Lucas to the highest bidder next summer

Rafa recently said he is a complete player - has everything in his locker but to my mind, he can't tackle, he can't head the ball and he never gets into a shooting position, so not sure if he can shoot, but I'd bet my b******s on the fact that he can't !

This so called "brazilian gerrard" cost us £6million. Is it fair to compare him to an academy player then? No for me, although i'd prefer to see any academy player in the club in the squad before him. The guy is a liability.

As time goes on, we can see Lucas been improving, rather slowly, but we need him to take the job more faster for the title race.

Lucas was shocking again today. 3 match suspension and he comes straight back in the team. He gave the ball away so easily so many times today, particularly in the last 10 minutes when we're pushing to save our title bid. I counted 4 times in that spell he gave away possession cheaply, one of which nearly cost us a goal. I'm sorry but he just is not good enough. Get rid ASAP
