the league form carries on cert defeat , but if liverpool try harder and newcastle have a bit of an off day could get a point or snatch a win .

Up to the last three years I would expect to beat Newcastle either home or away. Now we are small team playing big team hoping to get a result hold them to a draw or something.

For me, every game matters. Granted if we finish 6th or 7th, on the face of it who cares? But actually, every game is a chance to turn things around ahead of next season, imagine if we won all our remaining games (granted we clearly won't), we would have a summer of anticipation and excitement and a buzz the players can look forward to, we can tell top players look we are turning it around come to us or stay with us whatever the case may be. Every game is so important now.

And whilst I desperately want to see what the youngsters can do, I don't want to send them out to get whooped 3 nil, because that will cause youngsters like sterling to look at other clubs, and be detrimental to their growth. Certainly I want them to get some game time though.

as a lapsed catholic i have returned to the bosom of my religion and am now on my knees[keep those thoughts pure] and praying hard.as much as i want/need/crave a victory just like the rest of you i don't see it happening.i'm not being a pessimist the sad thing is i think i'm being realistic.although i'll be screaming for them all day long come on lads i don't care who scores bring kd on if you need him.you owe the club yourselves the manager and the fans.YNWA
