in my opinion is that he's too soft with the players.

How many times have we seen him covering up the arses of the players when have failed him time and again? The latest? "My players are tired"

Sure the players love and will always be loyal to him. But does that always translate to results on the pitch?

People always say that rafa has poor man-management skills because he doesn't offer the pat on the back or the arm around the shoulder. Now that we have a manager who does all of these and more, our results are even more abysmal. So who is right?

The way we surrendered the match to wigan at anfield told me that the players were contented to just collect their fat pay checks. "Who cares the feck about results? After all, I'm already playing for a big club like Liverpool and earning big money."

If kenny doesn't give the players a big kick up their arse from now on, I can assure you that we'll get battered and walked over by blueshite at wembley.

I don't care if we batter them and go on to win the final - we're still crap in the league with p!ss poor signings that don't have the potential to improve us. Too little too late in my opinion.

From what I have heard though, kenny is much harsher with his players away from the media spotlight and gives rollickings where they are deserved. Shame it just makes them play even worse though. They either don't have the talent or they don't respect kenny enough to put in a shift for him. He needs to go and so do his signings.

They obviously can't be bothered to put in a shift - even in front of our own fans. I don't believe the guys at QPR and Wigan have more talent than our players but they managed to destroy us by pure determination.

first its important to know that league management requires different skill, it needs someone that can keep players performing thru 38 games. and i don't know a nice guy that is consistently wining leagues. others always come short even if they produce a good team, just look at arsenal, over 15 years they played better football than MU, but won only 3 vs MU's 8 in that time.

Mourinho and Capello are managers like Fergi, they have zero tolerance when it comes to the team play, they respect the players but expect no less than 110%, if someone holds the team back he is dropped immediately, if he cant contribute to the team he will be even removed from training.

even Guardula at Barca is strict, but respectful, the first thing he did was remove players like Deco and Ronaldinho from the squad, and even parted ways with big money Ibrahimovic after one season, and dose not play signings like Afely if they cant contribute, unlike Kenny with Hendo.

sentiment from Kenny is why the season is becoming a train wreck.

true, no determination and that's the problem. where's the "eye of the tiger"? Kenny have failed to motivate the players.

Don't think you are correct MR. The recent insight in to Dalglish by Alan Shearer gives the complete opposite impression to me and that guy I respect and will listen to.

It also staggers me so many don't understand his media angle. He will rarely criticize in public along similar lines to many managers and I don't care if the press consider him abrupt. Like they give people a fair shake and respect. Yeh right.

What is a concern is that even at the back now we are leaking goals and he still seems at a loss with how to improve it. I'll take a well drilled clean sheet the weekend.

No matter what, Liverpool is currently on a 7:th place with no Champions league next season and that's a big failure.

Alan Shearer is hardly going to slag him off in public is he? At the end of the day it does not matter what any ex player says its a results business. I heard Ian Rush on radio city on saturday saying Andy Carroll is coming on in leaps and bounds. I can't believe he really thinks that he is just bering loyal.

the problem with kenny is, he isn't a manager for this day and age. football is too fast for his tactics. we have no pace, no drive. it isn't the 70's anymore and you can't just pass and pass and go nowhere and still except to win.
