Lambert would be a big risk, but you have said yourself that Dalglish isn't going to take us to greatness, thats the point.

Its like managed decline, I aint interested in the Carling Cup or even top 4, I want the title! We are told that LFC won't settle for second best, coz we now settle for 4th best or as Shanks said 1st or 3rd loser.

If it isn't Lambert there is no other viable british option, then we must go foreign, Mourinho will go to Citeh, when Bobby Mancky gets the boot, then we are to appoint another manager with no PL experience a limited squad and a limited budget, that sounds pretty risky too.

For us to compete we are going to have to gamble, I fear we have lost too much in recent years for us to get back, but I see in Lambert someone who would get the respect of the dressing room with his exploits as a player and manager.

Lads I no things are bad at the club, on and off the pitch,

But we r not desperate, when certain fans start putting names forward to replace kd, like Lambert, rogers, etc etc, they are good great managers for the average clubs they work for and why r certain fans putting their names forward.... wat have they won as managers??.... [oops].all.
At least kd has won a cup.

Regards to foriegn managers having no epl xperience, to manager a club is fcuking bllx
That's like saying most teams shud sign players with epl xperience, if they wish to.be successful.... well hello,,, how many players at lfc have epl.xperience, most of starting 11, and we r still average

Certain fans seem to forget .... we r lfc, only the best will do and I hope and pray Mr Henry will sort lfc out on n.off the pitch this summer

I think nothing will change if we win the cup. I hope we do win the cup and my gut feeling is Kenny will remain for another fresh season if he does win the double however there are also people with other opinions that cups won't matter and that the league is the most important thing which is fair enough. Different fans expect different outcomes to the season. I will be over the moon if we lift the FA cup, some guys like Stan won't care, its how the world works.

but from a progression and financial point of view we need to be in the top four.
You attract better sponsorship and players that way.

I will listen, only if your answer contains wisdom

The problem you have is winning cups is good and helps the club but it only goes so far. If we want to be challenging for major honors we need top 4 and the money it provides.

This will allow us to get better players and we can then move on a step, if we don't then we will be limited to who we can buy and how much money we take in. I know its not ideal but money is the driving force in the game and that the honest truth

I agree (sadly) with others that if we win the FA cup, they might give him another year. Whatever else we win this year, he needs to be moved onfor the good of our club.

What?? Giving Kenny another season in charge???? That's suicidal!!! If that happens then Liverpool is relegation bound!!!! I will bet on that!!! No matter what happens in the FA cup, Kenny is a goner in my books!!! Liverpool fans deserve far better! It's been too painful this season. Enough of Kenny!!! We need competent coach in charge!!!!

Complete overreaction and the usual hyperbole coming from you. The owners may decide to give Kenny another season if he bags two cups and comes 7th. Disappointing league position but hardly suicide!

What do you mean overreaction!!! I think you are one of the few Liverpool fans who have lost their sense of pride!!! Shame!!! Some of us refuse to be associated with mediocrity!!! And that exactly what your Kenny is!!!

Sing YNWA does not make you a better supporter ! Don't tell me that you are among the fanatics who have lost their sense of reasoning!!! YNWA does not mean we should always be in desperation and crisis!!! Please change your line of thought! I will love Liverpool till death but I will always be rational question irrational thinking. Your insistence on Kenny is irrational! Yes you can respect the man and we all do but the fact still stands that the man is failing terribly and should be shown the door!!! It's as simple as A B C D ! What is so difficult for you to understand! Kenny is not going through ups and downs , no way , the man is incapable of delivering!!!!! He has failed and failed big time!!!! What is it that you don't understand ??????

I think you'll find that you are the one in constant crisis and "woe is me... I'm in such pain" mode. If Kenny is deemed expendable by the owners and the club... so be it. We move on. Everyone on this board understands and accepts that. But the constant maligning, insults, vitriol towards a great servant of the club is embarrassing. The classless comments... the demeaning of his person. That's what we don't understand mate. You keep acting like you're a fan of York City or something. Yes, our league position is disappointing.... yes, our new transfers haven't fully worked out yet... but have a word with yourself about the excessive moaning and brow-beating. How many clubs are going to Wembley this season... once, twice, perhaps thrice? The current league crisis will be worked on in the summer, with or without Kenny. Just show some class and support your team while we're alive in other competitions. Have some class...

I agree with most of that. Not sure you can use the 'visits to wembley' argument when one of them is only semi-final though......
Celebrating a trophy win is one thing but celebrating a semi-final just because it is foolishly played in the same venue as final is stretching things a bit far in my opinion.
