Did KK play Sterling because his mum started to kick off?

Must be one of most cringworthy managerial decisions I've seen in a long time. I'm not saying the kid doesn't deserve his chance, but parents speaking out in the press ain't how to pick a team

Injuries to other players is why he was included.

I don't get this thread either, wakka. Sterling has been good for the youth, and we're out of the race for 4th, so giving him a few minutes here and there will help him. It will also help others like Flanagan and Shelvey, who also played today and who didn't need their mum in the papers.

And frankly Sterling played very well.

taught sterling played well when he came on and hopfully he will get his chance now for the rest season it would be nice to see a new super star arrive to give us a lift...

That kid has pace. He looks like he could make something happen. We need to start bringing him in at 60 minutes the rest of this season and if he shows durabilty then we must start him. He is our fastest man or kid.

Carroll was watching that kid and day dreaming.

"Wow, I wish I was that quick"

He added more spark to that game for the last ten minutes, than we seen in the whole other 80.

Or wasn't I watching the same game?

Carroll is so slow and clumsy at times it makes you believe the story of him being injured falling off a bar stool. He plays football like he is falling of a bar stool.
