if carroll is playing and scoring then what we be the point of selling him?

Sell him before he resumes his normal level

If Carroll started scoring I don't think he could maintain it for long enough. He strugles for fittness, Im not sure even if he was fit he would make all the runs and drop offs needed to get him in the scorring postions. This is what Suarez, Rooney and Torres do naturaly. I know what your going to say about Torres he hasn't scored and all that bollox. But it still hasn't stopped his desire to get in those positions or do his fair share of work trying to create chances for the other striker. Whilst Carroll is on the pitch we are in effect playing with 5 midfielders because when wanders he never gets to the box where he should be leaving Suarez to do it all on his own. My Nephew got trials at Bolton for their youth academy, He had a cracking trial but never got a place in the team because not was not fast enough. The exact words were that the coach told his dad were "we can teach kids to play football, but there's no substitute for natural pace!" That is why Andy Carroll will never be a prolific striker and that is why Suarez looks P!ssed off whe he's on the same pitch as Carroll!

Should be same team for stoke except shelvey in for henderson.

You want Shelvey in for Henderson? You want Shelvey to play right midfield? Why not Kuyt, Bellamy or Maxi?

Well aldo, Shelvey is the future of lfc or at least he should be if not ruined by the manager.He is the real potential not henderson.Kuyt and Bellamy do a decent job but if it is potential henderson is wrongly frequently in the team for then surely rightfuly it should be the real potential of shelvey that is played instead.

I think you missed my point. I like Shelvey, I really do, and I'd like to see him given more playing time. My point was, why would you play him right midfield? I know he's been played there before, but he's not a right midfielder, he's a central midfielder.

Right midfield is still 'out of position' for him though. Why play him there when we have 3 more readymade replacements (arguably) all of higher quality than him in Bellamy, Kuyt and Maxi??
