2-dimensional players don't show when they lie flat on the grass.

Got it? grin

Can't be arsed going through a meaningless list that no one really gives a monkeys chuff about anyway.
Suffice to say, the whole team played AS a team, and for that I am grateful.
Top marks for Gerrard and Kelly though if you really want to push me

Talk about a right ole Jekyll and Hyde team though ey?

I am so very glad that Charlie Adams did not feature in this game. let's hope he continues to warm his backside.

I don't understand why everyone thinks Henderson had such a poor game. To be honest I thought he did ok and had a couple of defense splitting passes. To be honest he fulfilled the role that Adam was brought in for much better than Adam has so for. It is plain to see the lad does have a great eye for a pass and will only get better. I think Hendo had a decent game and that Carroll, despite not scoring, had an immense game, he won almost all of his aerial duels and had quite a few clever knock downs..also one or two great passes, also he was great in his defensive role tonight swell. Andy showed he is really trying and the improvement from his hard work in training is plain to see.

I think this is utter nonsense, you don't get a players confidence back by resting him or dropping him from the team, you have to show faith in the player and to be honest, I think you're judgement of his role in tonights game is a bit unfair.

This game shows their is hope for some, and a dead end for others, and that some pull the whole team down with them

Rafa - what game did you watch? even Aldo gave spearing mom as he bossed that midfield. Sometimes simple is more effective than driving runs. Every postive passage of play was down to spearing cleaning up and playing it simple.

I though it was Carrols best game although I would like him to sprint into the box more once he has laid it off.

Hendo bag of nerves, still made some telling passes.
