flameboy, you have much positive outlook, i agree with much you are saying, but in all fairness buddy, i havent ever seen this team loose that many games in a row without a reaction, we react against man U, then we loose, so it makes me wonder do liverpoool players think they should only beat man u??
The injuries are a valid point for sure, and sacking the manager isnt the long term answer, but what is going on? why arent the boys who are playing taking their chances??

I support the team evetime they are on the pitch
i love the club and the history
But i do make a difference between the club and the board/manager
i certainly have a problem with the board
I also have question over the management but that doesnt stop me cheering and believeing in the club. There is a difference

Flame Boy i have to said that is an excellent post!!!!!! I too have a balanced view about the whole thing. One thing that does trouble me though is the players get themselves motivated for the Man U game but then let themselves down badly against fulham. Ok you can argue about the sub's but Torres can't play 90 minute's, but when the players like Carra, Gerrard, Torres and Mash are not playing well is it up to the rest to stand up and be counted.
This is a time for unity and working togther to get the team through a very bad spell and snipping and bad mouthing the manager and the team isn't going to help. You can see what happens when the team are high on confidence you only have to look at last season. We need to get behind the team and manager to bring there confidence back up. The words of "you'll never walk alone" should be thought about at times like this and we should stand shoulder to shoulder with our hero's and be counted, this is our team and we love them through think or thin. This isn't blind faith but knowning your role within the club which Flameboy has said. We support the great's team in the world and we have been told we are the greatest supports in the world.....lets prove it by getting behind the team and helping them out of this HOLE!!!!!!!!! YNWA!!!!!!!!!

i agree with a lot of what you're saying flameboy. this is far from the worst this club has been through. the last two years under houllier was much worse. this is the worst spell so far under rafa, but the people who says it was better under houllier than right now has totally forgot how bad houlliers last years really was. no one can say we had a better team 5 years ago than we have now. except from alonso this is the same team who alongside barca played the absolute best football around europe last spring, we can't just forget that. we clearly have problems in the team with injuries and other things and for me the mentality has been the biggest problem this season. so right now it's up to rafa and the players to give their all to break this bad spell, and even though it's very frustrating times they will have my full support in every game no matter what...

for sure this is better that houllier, but i fear the time is drawing to a end on this manager.
But hey who knows, you know liverpool, he could scrape through to the next round of champion league and then g on and win it. lol
I wouldnt put anything past Liverppol.lol

yep you never know when it comes to liverpool... but i have the feeling that we won't make it this time. tomorrows task will probably just be too difficult for us, but then on the other hand we have produced some magical nights in this tournament before so i wouldn't be that surprised if we somehow managed to go through to the next round...

If I was going to lyon tomorrow,I'd take my boots! With all these injuries & illnesses I might get a game!!Seriously though,it's gonna take a miracle to get a victory tomorrow night, but it's happened before. We should give rafa a bit slack here, with so many injuries,it would cripple any team.Although, he has bought some duffer's which hasn't helped.

We need a mini miracle to qualify from this group. We might even win tomorrow and at home to Fiorentina but lose out on the head to head in terms of goals scored.
