We've scored 30 and let 25 in, so that's 100 % correct mate! whistle

Only Citeh have let in fewer, so Hart is better, and then comes Pepe. Right?

Our defence is much more solid than Spud's and Villa's, which makes Reina not that much involved in the games. Counted to 4 shots at him yesterday, of which he let in 2.

understandbly the forward players should get a load of grief this season and rightfully so but Pepe should shoulder a significant portion of blame when it comes to results. We have dominated so many games but been let down by lets be honest poor judgement from Pepe. Fulham obviously sticks in the mind as does Arsenal at home last season.
I believe we have an 8% chance converstion rate, lowest in the prem. But also whilst we have a very low goal conceeded number the chance converstion rate against is 30%+ which is shocking. The number of points dropped is well into double figures now 18+ from comfortable winning positions. Look at the city game away, downing one on one and Hart saves brilliantly, 5 mins later Pepe misses that Aguero pea roller. game changes.

Getting rid of Pepe is a knee jerk reaction but lets not hide from it and say it's not a problem. Spurs replaced Gomez even though he saved them many times - But he has clangers in him. Pepe has earned the right to find his form BUT it has to change quickly.

I understand where you're coming from, but hey let's look at our goals:

Until February

2011-2012: 29 - 23
2010-2011: 36 - 35
2009-2010: 45 - 28
2008-2009: 43 - 20

To me it's quite clear that we have a problem in the scoring department. Ok, we had just 20 against back in 2008-2009, but apart from that season we look just fine defensively.

On the other hand I agree that Pepe has had 2 seasons on a row now where he seems to be more clumsy than before. Don't know why, but I have that feeling anyway.

I guess we're lucky that our defenders have all picked up some sort of form to compensate for Pepe's blinders.

He is still an excellent keeper, since xavi valero left he maybe hasn't been quite as consistent.

you think it is down to the goal keeping coach?
