I will be honest that this thing had been looming around in my mind sometime back but i happened to read this somewhere and thought to discuss here

the idea behind the shambling performances is being masterminded by Rafa so that we end up outside top 4 dont get champions league revenue n all and this eventually paves the way for yanks to sell the club for cheap..so stands as the best way to get rid of them.

May Sound absurd though...please discuss

I dont find this impossible,i will use a rational viewpoint though. how can we be on top against manure & [oops] against Fulham. Where were Agger, Skertel, Ngog + some other players against Fulham - swine flu caught them????? Why did Rafa pulled Torres off at 1-1??? did he play for a draw match. Rafa never looked convincing in his team selection against Fulham. Now the other side of the story, why would rafa 'sink' matches knowing that may be he will have to leave at the end of the season n get replaced by kenny or Mourinho??? If we do find investors then may be they will sack Rafa and continue with those SSSHIIITTT yanks!with another manager in place. Rafa will b losing credibility. What i do believe is that Madrid might be tempting Rafa to come to them. Rafa has not got the players he wanted, at Real he will get all he wants as he has backing of the board. The Yanks are those to be kicked!!! Time will tell but with the current squad we will win nothing....SADLY!!

my personnel opinion about the scum fixture is that the result reflected more of a passion of the crowd, the fact that it was anfield and player's desire to kill the bitter enemy...time will tell but lets hope best for our club...our dear dear club...YNWA

Agree with u Mujtaba, but do u believe Rafa will still be manager come next year? Did u really read form genuine sources that Rafa is 'voluntarily' trying to outcast the Yanks through a bad spell?

if he's trying to do that, then he'll really be a genius (and an ass) for pulling it off. remain touching distance to 4th, advance to CL KO stage while at the same time forcing the owners to sell out. then when new owners come in with fresh funds, he'll pick everything up, qualify comfortably in top4 and maybe another CL final appearance.
but wait, what if the owners don't sell or new owners sack him.
what happens to his creditability. will real want him then?

i don't think he'll play such dangerous games where he could eventually end up the looser at the cost of dragging LFC down too.

yea look this is getting ridiculous. i mean why not just say that raffa is an inside man for united, or that he's secretly frank lampards biological father and is paving the way for chelsea.

ridiculous.

well from what i see ...
our full back are way too attacking leaving gaps in the back ...
esp when kuyt and benayoun both like to run into the PK box and no 1 is covering for them. Unlike last season we have aurelio and arbeola both are not so attacking minded hence ... there is a defence line between CArra, SKrtel and the full backs..

The real reason is a mix of players not playing for him, the team not being good enough, a bit of bad luck here and there, the disappointment all round that no money was spent this summer and the owners being dicks, as well as some poor decisions from Rafa and a few injuries here and there. Put it all together and you have a mess.

i couldnt agree with you anymore:)
