you can doom monger all you like if it makes you feel like an expert, but i have never ignored our weak points, i have been always been objective and identified our pro's and cons. youre telling me i have no arguement?

stan i have never talked about bad luck with regards to our current position. we are where we are based on our results. put you cant always judge a teams potential by looking at the table.

Flames not being confrontational here but for potential you need to see something taking shape. You may see that and you may be right but I don't. i think we are going to have to replace Adam, Henderson, Carroll and Downing more or less all last seasons signings the biggest investment for years and the one that was supposed to lift us up a level. What is it you see that I don't ?

i think adam will be replaced, i think he is a temporary measure. he tries but he doesnt have it, i feel for him because he is busting a gut out there. i think henderson will come good. just a hunch. he has the ability.downing is improving and i want to wait and see with him. i have a feeling he is not the problem. carroll is gone. he is the one i think that just maybe doesnt fit the mold.

as far as potential is concerned, i think it is in a lot of what dalglish has brought to the squad with regards to the basics. passing and movement has improved impecably. its not their every game but my christ sometimes it is sublime. carra aside, our defence has really started to shape up. these are two things that have dramatically improved and show potential for me. the attacking midfield and forward line is still to be improved, but i can wait, i can give dalglish commolli and the owners time because they have improved the other areas.

You may be right Flames but thats to the right side of optimistic. After the investment I think Henry will have expected more.

whatever happens stan, i just hope its the right move forward. i know no one wants to see a managerial tenure drawn out uneccesarily, but there is also as much danger with a rash decision, loss of ground work, and maybe even a loss of a ferguson type reign. i remember all those years back laughing at ferguson thinking who is this chump, united are a farce.

This is different I remember in the eighties as a Liverpool fan and even then if I am honest I feared Fergie. Also the game has changed teams at the top cannot afford to waste 5 seasons with the money involved.
