He has not been backed in buying Silva n Villa. When Rafa gets these type of players and still the team does not perform then i would agree 100000000% to get him sacked! He has been given funds to replace players and not funds to strengthen the squad. Its 2 different things

he has had plenty of time to get the players he wants and bought badly with the money he has had

a good manager with little money gives kids a chance so he can hoard his money to buy fewer but better players

rafa has not done his job to anything like the level he needs to be at - worst of all he has never taken the prem as seriously as europe when it is clearly our most important target!!

He had the team he wanted with Alonso and he ended with 86 points and a strong CL charge. Then Alonso wants out (I know i know because of Rafa who knew Barry would turn out a money grabbing b*astard). Then Rafa goes to the board and says he needs to replace alonso get another winger and a back up striker - He barely gets enough to buy a replacement for Alonso. Thanks owners for that, Parry and Moore what did you leave us with????! Excuses i know but we where in great shape before these two sheisters turned up because of Rafa not in spite of him. We can get no better manager at this point the best that will happen is Rafa out Phil Thompson in as caretaker till the end of the season till we find out noone would touch our club with a barge poll in our situation unless of course anyone is up for Kevin Keegan/ Steve McClaren

Don't see the point in sacking him now.With the two to**er's destroying the club,what quality manager is going to come in with no money to spend & a poor squad.Very few top manager's move during the season.Every potential new manager is going to be looking at us at the end of the season,where we are regarding owners & finances & investment.It's one giant f**k up at the moment.Obviously,the injuries aren't helping,but we should have enough quality in the squad to beat fulham,but we haven't.I think he's got to stay til the end of the season,& if we finish outside the top four,which it looks like we will at the moment,he has to go.But,it's just as important for the yanks to go too.Tin hats on l'm afraid.

you have summed up exactly what i was going to say - he bought the crap squad players like voronin and babel that we can't got shut off ...... he even added another useless one in the summer with a greek defender that wasn't good enough for the SPL let alone the EPL!

he has taken the club as far as he can and its time to thank him for what he has done and look elsewhere for the title

I voted yes, but the support is waining.

The squad is his entirely. The tactics are his and the team spirit is the one he has instilled in the players. As a whole we are nothing but an average squad of players with an incredibly fragile mind set. The tactics haven't evolved beyond simplistic and there has never been a plan 'b'. The mistakes that have been made over the last 5 years have not been rectified. Players that are patently not good enough are given chance after chance, then rewarded with improved contracts.

The whole club is being dragged into mediocrity by owners who don't care and a manager who doesn't know how to stop it.

I fear for us.
