we could have beat Cardiff narrowly in the qtrs and Chelsea in the final if this would have made it look better for you? The fact is over several games against teams of variable ability we won the cup, a slog it was but won it anyway. Just like Birmingham in 2001, remember that season we got pasted by Arsenal in the FA Cup final but still won it, shall we hand it back because they were better than us - therefore not fair?

it is about the fact that even though we won. it should not be the be all and end all.
We were very lucky not to be beat yesterday, and for all the money we have spent, against this type of opposition, we should not have struggled the way we did.
however good they played, I would expect us to beat a championship team in normal time.

Then something else obviously does matter. You know you would do well in a circus heggy, given that you can talk out of both sides of your mouth at the same time.
