Rubbish...

Benitez is a miles apart compared from Houiller... And Liverpool are currently on the up after 5 years of Raffa's rein, and it was completely different under Houiller...

And how and any idea of our records in the Champions League...

Chris Bascombe can just p**s off...

Yes we have moved on a lot from the time Houllier left and our squad is vastly improved.

And one thing that i appreciate with Raffa compared to Houiller is that when he makes a blunder in the transfer market, he doesn't waste time to ship the player out... Unlike Houiller...

I enjoyed the video Dunk.

Its seeems Chris has got the balls to say something about our club due to the backing of the big newspaper, one reason he left the echo? Is that fair to say?

I personally do not care. I read the article, some bits are true in what he says, but comparing Rafa to Gerard is an total outrage and like you say a cheap shot. Maybe deep down Chris is disappointed with our club few weeks where we have dropped points? Who knows. Disappointing article.

i have to say that chris has lost the respect i have for him - he seems to have a personal vendetta against liverpool nowadays - i am not sure if it is worse because of the paper he is at encouraging him or if he chooses teh stance he is taking but i would no longer take any notice of anything he has to say about liverpool

as for this article i felt it was just typical screws of the world bs

Just wonder whether Chris Bascombe is influenced by anything?

And by that i mean does he have the same inside knowledge and level of contact with the club and players that he used to have whilst Houllier was in charge? I can see that once Rafa took over things might have changed alot and Bascombe could have found it harder to get inside information. Along with him moving to a not so well liked national paper, his articles do certainly look increasingly like an attack on Liverpool and especially the manager.
