Cardiff have been poor in the league as of late, yes. That's mainly down to them thinking about this game. Tonight they showed heart and grit. Every time we attacked they had 7 or 8 (at least) men behind the ball. Their defence was fantastic so we only really got to try our luck with long shots. Heaton saved a couple but didn't do anything fantastic besides the penalty save on Gerrard. Yes, Cardiff aren't a top side but they had a game plan and stuck to it. Kenny gave us our first trophy in 6 years and is still in the FA cup at the expense of United! 4th is still very possible as well. Save it until the end of the season.

And at least we have some European football next season! May not be Champions league yet but we can still get 4th spot.

christ on a bike. we just won a cup final. please try to at least pretend that it brings you some joy. i dont think anyone would say that everything is as we would like it but how about we celebrate, cheer on the team,and who knows a win like this just might be the catalyst to greater success and helping some of our players settle in and relax. each of our new signings has talent. support them. i would love to hear what guys like you would say if you were interviewed on tv representing the fans after the game. embarrassing.
