When I read post's on here I Find we have massive differences in opinion on how good we think we are or where the Club is going. The answer I would like to know is where do you honestly see us as a Football Club in five years. I say five years because I think in that time one way or another our future could well be shaped for good, if we kick on and make true our boasts of loads of money, new stadium e.t.c. then the future could be rosy if we stay the same, no stadium and carry on failing to qualify for the Champions League and allowing our rivals to extend the gap I fear we are doomed for a life of mediocrity. At the moment for me I think the latter as I have seen absolutely nothing to suggest we will suddenly become a force again and winning Carling and F.A.Cup's wont change that no matter how many times we win them...

In 5 years i think we'll be in 6th or 7th, with maybe a poxy cup win or 2 to 'boast' about.

It's so hard to say because so much rests on cl qualification and I honestly don't see us having a better chance than right now chelsea are pretty awful so are arsenal and if they qualify ahead of us whichever one it is they will be better next season especially chelsea as they will have to spend big we have to take our chance but we need to stop playing so negative and just 433 with gerrard Adam and Henderson in the middle and suarez Carroll bellamy up top and if we fall short at least we had a go. If we can get a 5 game winning streak going we will be 4th for sure but we have to take our chance

You two will only be happy if we are in the Championship, Suarez is in jail for not shaking Evra's hand and we are a Man U feeder club.

funny that you call cups poxy but cherish 4th place which is nothing which only given a chance into a cup competition

Hmm shows how poor your football knowledge really if faz the champions league is the biggest club comp because of the money it pays and every player wants to play in it so its equals more money and better players like it or not that is how it works .

To be fair north is annoying at times but he can make good points and seems to be quite knowledgeable of football but faz doesn't have a clue about the game at all you can tell by his posts he has no idea about the modern game . I work in football coaching part time and i don't like how the game is today most of the young guys play just for money we all know that but unfortunately that's how it is and you can't really blame them its a celebrity lifestyle nowadays. But we support Liverpool and there players because you just can't help it and passion drives us to do it .

ok money fine but 4th doesnt guarantee anything and is not success , winning cups is a form of sucesss and are not poxy , and more money doesnt guarantee better players , the club have forked ut 120 odd million on players only one has done ok the rest have been poor so that logic is flawed look at chelsea £50 million for torres

And therein lies the problem....due to our current manager/players we haven't been able to manage more than a 2 game winning 'streak' in the league this season.
