I would rather go for villa or silva.Mata wants to find a new way to renegociate his contract with valencia by linking himself with us and I am fed up with players that make themselves unhappy with their club just to improve their contract extension and afterall mata will never make it with the robustness of the england game,(too lightweight)!! diego capel from sevilla would be an ideal choice .
diego capel is a very interesting player. but what's funny is that you're saying mata is too lightweight and then you're saying capel (he's just as small as mata) is the ideal choice...
i think mata is the one out of those two who has proven most at a high level...

Scum wants Silva in Jan. If Silva can hold out till the summer, we could get him.
but if we can't get him i think we will get juan mata.
cheaper, younger and also one of the best spanish players around these days...
Mata is a good player who can score goals. And there is always a place for a player like that. But in my opinion, we need a bit of guile and someone who can play the ball with some intelligence and who unlock defences, so for me it is Silva or nothing.
