Downing has been 100% Garbage. At least Adam and Carroll have shown some flashes here and there. Downing has been our worst regular player by far and away.
lets be fair he has shown flashes but disappears quicker than Mr Benn in nearly all the games. I was probably expecting him to be the biggest success being a regular prem player, england caps, dedicated pro and possess some decent quality. However he has been poor and probably the worst of the bunch considering the above.

Downing
has shown glimpses of his talent, and has had some good games for us. Recently in one of the games (think it may have been one of the cup games against United or City) I thought he played excellent both in an attacking sense and a defensive sense. It was one of the best games I've seen him play in a red shirt.
He was dropped then and after getting back into the side in the last game against United, he offered absolutely nothing to the team on the day whatsoever. The think that irked me was him shaking his head and effing and blinding out of him as he came off the pitch. He was taken off cos he did f*cking nothing. Play a great match and get hooked off, then you can be disgruntled. I hate seeing players getting p*ssed off when they're hooked off for playing sh*t.
