He is a different player from Alonso Mujtaba. He is more mobile and plays with a bit more pace and dynamism. The amount of time you will see Aquaman make runs into the box is more than Alonso does in a full season. While we lose many things with Alonso's departure, we can look forward to differnet things with Aquilani.
He could give us a greater presence in the box from midfield. and that can only take the pressure of Gerrard and Torres in very tight games.

the thing is that if he has good attacking intent,presence in box,pace,dynamism,eye for goal and killer long passes too together with immense game intelligence ,,blah blah.....then I RECKON WE GOT A BETTER REPLACEMENT OVER ALONSO.........whats wrong in that.... cheers
