we(including me) kinda spent the last month pinpointing problem areas in our team (for the purpose of getting better of course ;)) which is fine, but with the belief we are turning the corner and to bring a bit of balance to the arguement, i thought it might be an idea to mention some of our quality players, might bring some perspective:
PEPE: one of, if not thee best in the PL.
CARRA: ok shakey start, and might be losing pace, but pace didnt stop sammi being a legend. plus he really knocked the sh*t out of the mancs on sunday. hopefully back to form with crunching tacklesand good reading of the game.
AGGER: again, looked very good against the mancs, crucial tackles and only back from a long injury
BENNY: what can i say, as someone else called him, the silent assasin. great grafter with quality.
GERRARD: legend
MASCHERANO: not a shiney player, but when he's not getting sent off he's a real b*astard to play against. good worker too.
AQUILANNI: im gonna go head and jump the gun, he'll be the signing of the season for any club and will link up great with torres. tonight he looked exactly like he played in the clips on youtube.
TORRES: who doesnt want him in their team. definitely the best striker in the PL at the moment.
KUYT: Not a shiney player either but will ALWAYS contribute to a game.
JOHNSON: immediate impact, good going forward like riise was, but a better defender.
thats goal to goal, quality players in nearly every department.things might not be as bad as we first feared. and lets not have people on ranting about the same ol yank, stadium raffa conspiracies, i think weve heard it already enough times now. lets focus on the team...please
