Stewart Downing...dear oh dear
Its been well over 20+ games now, and I've been very quiet on the topic of this supposed wide man and decided to be patient and give the man a chance in hope its just nerves and he'll come good.
Sorry I have to break that silence now.....He is [oops] terrible!
He is most definitely Aston Villa (mid table) class. There is a reason why no other big 6 club had no desires for him for years and especially at the eye-watering fee paid!
He is just not liverpool class, a far worse thought is our loved club is becoming his class! discuss....
p.s. He has definitely been the worst of the British trio brought in under Kenny!
im of the same opinion BUT,
if his 2 or 3 shots that hit the woodwork had gone in and the 7 or 8 chances he has put on a plate for some people had come to goals, he would be a totally diff player and would we be argueing the point if his stats said
3 goals 6/7 assists???
probably the reason IF is the biggest word in the footballing language!!
