I am not afraid to admit it " I want both out " Suarez for bringing this whole sorry mess to the Clubs door and Dalglish for publicaly backing a Liar who told everyone within the Club he was going to shake Evra's hand wether it was right or wrong and never knowing full well it would escalate the situation. Suarez does'nt give a damn about the Club or he would'nt of done what he done so please dont make out he somehow cares, Dalglish is a man on the brink anyway we all seen that on the Monday after the Spurs game when he lost his cool again with the Interviewer when questioned about Carroll. The one thing I cant understand is, is there were people on here condeming Tevez for treating City like sh*te and when Suarez does far worse they all rally around him, quite baffling and two faced.

I think we should at least consider he intended to shake his hand, but either couldn't go through with it, or changed his mind when he saw Evra withdraw his. Not sure either if refusing to shake a hand is far worse than refusing to play/warm up - whatever the exact situation was. It's very natural to be bias toward your own players.

I wouldn't sell Suarez. he has said he enjoys playing for lfc, the only people saying he may leave are the papers that I wouldn't trust. Also the club would be going backwards selling one of our most influential players.
On the subject of Saturday, both sets of players were in the wrong and all of them should issue an apology, not just lfc.

Suarez is a Liar and has little regard for the Club, do you really want someone like that playing for your Club no matter how good or bad a player he is.

To be honest though you backed Hicks and Gillete saying they had done nothing wrong if you care to remember, so you seem to choose whats right and wrong according to your present agenda.

In my opinion, domestic cups are not high on the agenda for our owners as they do very little for our worldwide marketing potential and offer relatively little prize money in the scheme of things.
If you like them, good for you but don't question my attitude. Any team hanging on to carling cup success to determine their season is showing a small club mentality. Like I said though, enjoy your day out at wembley but don't get fooled into thinking a win means we are progressing in any way, shape or form.

I certainly won't be getting carried away with myself if we win the League Cup, but how you can say winning trophies is not a sign of progress is a bit strange to me. I'm absolutely fine with the difference of opinion, I just don't like truth distortion to suit an argument.

I think winning Cups is a form of success, they dont carry weight but it's very nice for the supporters to celebrate, am afraid thats all our Club is now, a Top 6 finish and maybe one or two domestic Cups, it's been like that for a while now unfortunately. The problem I have is that I honestly believe we could of had that anyway without spending over 100 million pound on absolute dross, the right players could of cost us about 30 or 40 million and we could of still achieved what we will porobably achieve this season anyway.

It's just more self-righteous, sanctimonious, phoney, fake, and insincere CRAP. Standard Chartered are just sucking up to the powers that be and buying all the moralistic soundbite bullsh1te. If they can't see through the hypocrisy and the double standards then they can eff off as sponsors. Lots of despicable things go on in football - lots of footballers make moronic decisions and start pathetic little issues in the press. Some of the top people in the game - Fergie, 'Arry, and all the FA board have absolutely no leg to stand on as far as moralising goes. This issue is not racial at all - it's tribal and it's being politicised for machiavellian gain. These corporate sponsors are full of corruption and have been built on the backs of third world slave labour. They can shove their moral posturing where the sun don't shine!
are you real a major sponsor can f-off get in the real world mate , this is what football is all about big money and big business

The most important factor for me, that comes with winning trophies is a winning mentality. Instilling a winning mentality into a team is vital, and nothing helps with that more than winning trophies.

When we won the cup treble in 2001, we hadn't won a trophy for 6 years previous. I have no doubt that the first win of the three (the Worthington Cup) aided the mantality of the players to go on and clinch the other two.

Same as from about 2005-2009 in the Champions League under Rafa. We won it, flopped the next season, okay, but then got to the final again the next season, and got to the semis or quarters every year for the next few years. I always had the sure belief that we were gonna win going into those European games. European heavyweights - you name them, we beat them. There are a lot of factors that contributed to that, like decent players, and excellent tactics from a smart manager, but I think the vital ingredient was the mentality and belief of the players.
