and if we go on a good run, win the final in a couple of weeks, finish fourth with Suarez as exciting to watch as he has been, you still want Dalglish and Suarez gone at the end of the season? Even without having a replacement in mind? wont matter as i said cups or 4th or both i believe from the fenway statement that there will be a change , and its good to see real leadership freom the owners at last lets hope it means a better future . Which statement? where have you been all day , the one where they state no one is bigger than the club , plus the way they had to intervene over the way the club dealt with the whole sorry incident . university. Is it on the club website. This is getting serious.

I believe thats there is a strong possibility of one or both leaving the club,i most certainly wouldn't rule it out,we do not know how the owners view this scenario and who they blame for it.

by the way i am not saying i want them out i believe they will be sold and sacked at the end of the season . so if we finish 4th, win the Carling Cup, and Suarez continues to be entertaining as a footballer 'till the season ends... and the owners still sack them as you believe they will.... will you still see that as a good thing i.e. a good signal that new owners are showing leadership? You'll support that will you?

You're right about needing to look at it through the owners eyes. Some fans may well be excited about a league cup final against a championship side; and if that's their criteria for a successful season then good luck to them. FSG on the other hand are a business that needs to make money to survive following a huge initial investment for the takeover followed by further massive squad investment which looks to be very poorly spent with next to no chance of providing a return. The only way they will make the most of LFC is by....:
1) capitalising on our image and marketability - sadly this is rapidly going down the pan for a number of reasons 2) finishing high enough in the league to qualify for the lucrative champions league
As it stands, removing the manager would probably help with both of the above and must therefore be something that the owners must be seriously contemplating. Make no mistake, their decisions will not determined by 1 or 2 poxy cup wins, even if it does make a few supporters happy. Just out of interest, what relevance is there in mentioning that our opponents in the final are a Championship side? It seems like you mentioned it in an effort to undermine the prestige of the League Cup. It's not the Johnstones Paint trophy - all Premier League sides WERE in the competition. Cardiff are there on merit, as are we, having got through with away wins to Stoke, Chelsea and Manchester City - none of which fielded weak sides. Also, "poxy cup wins"? You, my friend, have a terrible attitude. It's all wrong. I do not have a terrbile attitude, merely a different opinion to your own. I've never been inetrested in the FA or League cups, they are simply a distraction to the important stuff ie the League. In my opinion, domestic cups are not high on the agenda for our owners as they do very little for our worldwide marketing potential and offer relatively little prize money in the scheme of things. If you like them, good for you but don't question my attitude. Any team hanging on to carling cup success to determine their season is showing a small club mentality. Like I said though, enjoy your day out at wembley but don't get fooled into thinking a win means we are progressing in any way, shape or form.

I hope they learn from this, looking back on it,it should never have been left to kenny to deal with,The owners, chief exec and legal team should have dealt with it,statements should have been from the clubs PR department, let the manager manage the players he has available.
