I think the time is right to install Benitez as the Liverpool manager in the summer and take us to the next level.

Benitez brout us the biggest trophy in 20 years. He left only because of the owners not supplying the 100mil plus subsequent owners receive.

surely the lesson from appointing kenny is never go back, and how would gerrard carra and others who wanted him out think? rafa no doubt would want shot of them players so that means another big turn over in players

Stiggy, what planet are you on? I like Rafa and I hope one day he does somehow come back. But just like Kenny, he's not perfect. His media skills (or lack of) for one would be enough to resist from having him back at the moment.

We need stability or a safe pair of hands and preferably both.

Said it before, will say it again, I guess. Benitez could manage LFC in future, but not while the players he mismanaged are part of the squad.

I think players like Downing, Henderson and Carroll are actually benitez type players. all bar 1 defender are his signings. The only potential loss would be Gerrard as Carragher is not a regular.
