anyone no anyting about him other then that he can "pass the ball forward" ? is he quick? the team is very slow atm, what height is he? cos the team is also full of dwarfs, could do wit some one who can head the ball. can he run with the ball? is he agressive?

he is a very gifted player with the ball, pretty fast for a centre mid and looks like he is very good at set pieces

he has great vision. much better movement than alonso and just like gerrard he often gets into the box. he has a great shooting ability and i think we'll see some fantastic goals from him.

what will happen he will prob play the gerrard role behind Torres and gerrard will play the alonso role and hopefully with some attacking as well could work very well

is there a concern that he will double up on gerrards positioning. I watched some stuff on youtube and he looks very good, but similar role the stevie. are they going to be falling over each other and vying for the same spot? i noticed in all the clips i saw, two things. one, amazing vision, and two, he was being given a lot of time on the ball. how will he cope under pressure i wonder?

i don't think there's a problem with them being too similar. gerrard will go on as 2nd striker and aquilani will play a bit deeper with masch/lucas. the big difference between aqui and alonso is that aqui has much better movement and will be able to get from box to box, and therefore i think there's a great chance he will be a better combination with masch/lucas than alonso were.

generally in seria a they get more time on the ball, so it's just a question of how fast he will adapt to the tempo in pl. i think he has so much talent that it won't take long...

Do you think that maybe we are putting a little bit to much pressure on him before he has even kick a ball for the first team?

no i don't think so. players must be able to handle the pressure, and i think aqui will do so.

but it's not up to him to save our season, it's up to the whole team so i don't think anyone should blame him if he's not at his best for the first month or so, becasue he hasn't played for a long time...

i dont think any of us can predict how good or bad he will be.the truth is any player signed from any club might be a huge success or a big flop.all we can do is hope he fills the potential he is reported to have.
i think its true that physical players will settle into the prem faster than players who like time on the ball and in the italian league they do get a little more time, having said that great players make time for themselfs.i hope he's one of them.
