Do you know what happened with this kid? Was not good enough to be part of Liverpool? Cause I saw he signed a precontract.

Anyways as you may know, or may not. He had never played in a professional league. Just in U17 and U20 tournaments playing for Mexico or his club Pachuca, but not as a professional player until now.

This season is his debut season as a professional player in the mexican league and I'm going to share some stats with you.

He has been on the pitch in 4 of the 5 games his club have played. Non of them as a starter obviously.
He has 59 minutes played in total this league and has scored 3 times. Also he was fouled for a penalty that his team convert into a goal.
So, 4 apps, 59 mins, 3 goals scored, 1 penalty committed to him and just 17 yrs old.
I know is too early but at least he has started with the right foot.

He will be back over in the near future,not old enough to sign a pro contract or something along those lines.

Pretty sure if he's only 17 he can't sign a professional contract with a European club. Same rules are in place for signing Brazilians, Argies, basically any non-EU player. Perhaps once he turns 18 he'll join us on a permanent basis. Not like it matters. It seems that despite having the best academy in England, Kenny is willing to let talent like Sterling go to waste while Downing slams another cross into the fullback's thigh.
