Neither they are both self employed businessmen who get the best deal they can. Would you not like to add Gerrard to that list when he wanted to join Chelsea for more dosh?

At least i believe torres would never ever join the scum had they come knocking. Joining chavs was the least despicable thing he thought would be forgivable.

The modern player looks to make the most of their career for the short period they have it (in terms of money and medals).
