Of course with in reason obviously if the player is available and wants to play in England fsg will spend big if we make the cl as they will want the league next season so yes most players are realistic we are a growing side unlike utd who are at the moment on the slide in my opinion .

With that in mind Hazard because he won't go to chelsea or arse without champions league, he'll cost around 30mil and with that in mind it'll be him or Lucas Moura or Mario Gotze.

But honestly I wouldn't expect cavani to sign and expect him to stay at Napoli. But there aren't many big name forwards at small clubs who are relatively young

i think chelsea will still attract players with massive wages and london which is a massive pull to players CL or not

I am sure that the reason that we did not make any major signings in January was because we are after the right players.

Who are the right players?

The right players would be our top targets who have been approached by us with their current clubs knowledge AND who would be willing to join us irrespective of where we finish this season. Anyone wanting to come to Liverpool just to play CL football or to win an Olympic Gold medal need not bother. The players who want to come to win the title and then go on to win it again and again......and then perhaps the CL as well.........those are the right players. If the people at the top have got this right we will nail all our top targets pretty early in the next transfer window.

Do the posters on here really want wages mercenaries who want to raise their own profiles by playing at CL level?

Here's my rant. Newcastle got Cisse for 8mil. On his first game he scored. Last season he said that it would be a dream for him to play for us. Mark my words, he will out score Carroll this season, and that will be from playing only half a season. Sometimes I wonder what Camolli is doing.
